This is my personal pie chart. Never thought that this could be useful but it really was for me. A long time ago I think in secondary school we had to make this, but now it was with whole other subjects and stuff and you realize more that you are part of some groups but also that the groups and all of that make you who you are, it makes part of your identity. My local part is really big, because I care a lot of my friends and family and my study is also really important for me. What I didn’t know about this field was that also ethnic group belongs there. Never thought about it myself, but I live in a really strange village, it is Baarle-Hertog. My village is a part of Belgium in the Netherlands, so everywhere around me is a border. And when people of my village come to Belgium they say that we are people from the Netherlands, because of our dialect. But when we are in the Netherlands they say that we are from Belgium… so acutely, we have the feeling that we don’t belong in both but we just have each other. So now I know that this is my ethnic part, and I can give it a place.
This is the mind map that we made. I was in the group with Esben, Marius, Hulya and Jonas. It’s actually really funny that sometimes your opinions and the opinions from the other people in the group can be totally different.
I'm working on a video or CV i will try to get the video on my blog and if it doesn't work i will make a CV... I'm curious about the result myself :)
